Fireworks at the Fairgrounds

Celebrate our nation’s independence while supporting the Wiregrass United Way. Fireworks at the fairgrounds is set for Saturday, July 3rd, at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds. There will be free watermelon, ice cream, and peanut samples, kids games, inflatables and train rides, live music, displays, car show, arts and crafts, and vendors. The fireworks show will begin at 9:00 p.m., followed by a talent show. The gates open at 5:00 p.m. Admission to the event is free, but they are asking for a $10 parking donation to benefit the United Way. Anyone interested in being a volunteer should call (334) 793-4323.
