Go Public Gardens Day

Enjoy FREE GATE ADMISSION along with the opportunity to visit with and learn from a variety of gardening experts throughout the garden grounds. Expected to be on hand will be members of the Wiregrass Master Gardeners Association, Wiregrass Rose Society, Wiregrass Daylily Society, as well as staff from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System along with DABG staff and volunteers.
Children’s activities will also be included, along with a “Children’s Story Stage” in the Michelin Amphitheater featuring the reading of a variety of favorite children’s books. Our butterfly house, Wings of Wonder, will be open for the season (admission fee required). Hands-on children’s activities in the Demonstration Garden will be included, along with a food truck near the picnic pavilion to satisfy your appetite.
“GO PUBLIC GARDENS” Day is co-hosted by the Wiregrass Master Gardeners Association.
