A married pair of second-rate theatre actors cast themselves as self-help gurus. Much to their surprise, they become the world’s most revered relationship experts. Their careers skyrocket as their own marriage takes a nose dive. Cindy is about to have an affair with the gardener when he dies suddenly in a most compromising position. What follows is a series of hilarious antics, leaving she and hubby Hal to spend the next 24 hours protecting their reputations from the police, their agent, and a nosey journalist.
