SibShop

Beacon of Hope and Ft. Rucker Exceptional Family Member Program invite you to the first-ever Wiregrass Sibshop event! Activities will include discussions, recreation, and high energy activities. Lunch will be provided from Milky Moos and registration is $5. Sibshops are lively events for the family member that will have the longest relationship with a child who has special needs- their sibling. Evidence shows that siblings of children with special needs develop amazing qualities but may struggle with feelings of guilt, isolation and resentment. Our goal is to offer a fun experience that allows the siblings to get to know other children experiencing similar highs and lows associated with having a brother or sister with special needs.
