Wreaths Across America
On Saturday, December 18, more than 1,200 cemeteries across America will invite their communities to pay tribute to fallen heroes by taking part in National Wreaths Across America Day. Citizens will recognize our military veteran’s courage and sacrifice by placing a live evergreen wreath on a veteran’s grave. Sunset Memorial Park, in partnership with the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), is honored to host this event for the Wiregrass.
There will be a brief ceremony at Sunset Memorial Park, beginning at 12 pm. Following the ceremony, local military personnel from Fort Rucker will escort civilians to graves where wreaths are to be placed.

The deadline to purchase a wreath is November 30. Your wreath will be delivered to Sunset Memorial Park for the ceremony on December 18.
The mission of Wreaths Across America is “Remember, Honor, Teach.” Organizers encourage parents and grandparents to bring their children to Wreaths Across America.
