Jack-o’-Lantern Jubilee
We usually hold a family event of some kind during the fall here at FUMC, and we’re not letting COVID take that away from us this year! We’re just adapting it as we have done with many areas of ministry in 2020. So, this year, we’re….CARVING PUMPKINS!!
For a $10 donation to the youth ministry’s pumpkin patch, you will receive a pumpkin, basic carving materials, and a tablecloth set up in a spot on the green space where you will carve and listen to the Pumpkin Parable. The Pumpkin Parable is a great story about how God has created us all to be different, but all to shine a light!
When you arrive that Sunday afternoon, you’ll be directed to a tablecloth to sit as a family. We’ll have the story and then you can carve away! There will even be a place to take a photo with your creation before you take it home.
